One place to come back to
When a client returns for a check-in, finding the right request should not be another thing to remember. Their portal page gathers every request you send and makes the state clear: what needs attention now, what opens later, and what your practice has received.
ClientFormsThe client portal is ongoing access to forms from your practice. Every send opens on this one page.

- 1. One place to come back to: A practitioner shares a portal link that gives the person one place to return.
- 2. Open the portal link at home: A person opens that link at home instead of finding a past request email.
- 3. What needs attention now: The page names the request that needs attention now.
- 4. What can wait until later: Between requests, the page says nothing is due and names the next available date.
- 5. What the practice received: The person can see the title and received date without opening an old email.
- 6. The next request appears here: A later separate request opens on the same portal page and the person returns.
Illustrations and all names are synthetic. Each new send is a separate request gathered on the portal page.
How the portal link helps
The page names the request a person can act on. Between requests, it can say “Nothing to do right now” and give the next available date. Finished titles and received dates provide a small receipt. The page holds the forms and dates together for someone who finds several of them hard to hold in mind.
What happens
While the portal link is on, every email you send the client has one button, Open your forms, and it opens their portal page: the same link each time. A new send creates a separate request on that page; it does not add a measure to an earlier request.
The page shows an open request when there is something to fill, a future check-in with its available date, and completed titles with received dates. It does not show answers or scores. The practice can copy or email the portal link, turn it off, and turn it back on, which gives a new link. The link stays the same while the client is active; after a long quiet spell it rests, and your next send opens it again.
Words you can forward to a client
The simplest thing to forward is the guide written for clients, How your forms page works, with pictures of the page they will see. Or send these words:
Your practice may send you a portal link. Open it to see what you can fill now, when a later check-in opens, and which titles your practice has received. If nothing is due, the page says so. You can come back through the portal link when another request opens. If the page says the link is no longer active, or you expected a form that is not there, contact your practice.
This explanation is for clients of a practice, using an illustrated synthetic example.
