Step 1: Check whether you need procedure consent
Procedures is for practices obtaining consent for a specific procedure, with its own risks, preparation and aftercare. General psychology treatment consent belongs in Practice forms.
Step 2: Open the Procedures entry where offered
In Client Forms, use the Procedures entry if your practice offers procedures. Procedures is available on the AU data rail and is not available to US accounts. Whether it starts on or off depends on your practice specialty and saved setting. An off entry does not mean you need to enable it.
Step 3: Review the procedure information
Choose the procedure and review the information, consent wording and preparation before making it available to a patient. Use only procedures appropriate to your practice.
Step 4: Use the procedure consent workflow
Follow the procedure’s send and consent controls. Review its signed record on the patient page. Ordinary assessments and registration remain separate choices.
